About the Ball: Details are in the previous picture in the gallery. This photo displays the Red Harridge signature stamp. Other baseballs from this era were stamped with blue ink. The stamp reads: "William Harridge" and "President American League."
Unfortunately, a previous owner or player has soiled this ball with black permanent marker, writing the number "50" over the once magnificent facsimile signature. It's all we've got though for the gallery, and there are no plans to replace it with a better version. These balls are rare and pricey, in any condition.
