About the Ball: Currently the only ball in the Museum of Baseballs that was not manufactured by MLB's official suppliers: Rawlings, Spalding or Reach.

Why we made an exception? This is believed to be the official game ball used in the 1992 Japan All-Star Tour series between Major League and Nippon Professional Baseball All-Stars. It's is a Mizuno official ball featuring the commemorative logo created and used for this special event.

It's entirely possible that Major Leaguers have used other "unofficial suppliers" for other special events in Japan, but this is the only one we've seen to date.

Note that the logo contains "Major League Baseball International," which is a division of Major League Baseball.
