About the Ball: Likely the very first Gold Glove Award ball issued by Rawlings - it's at least the earliest one we know to exist. Features a highly detailed, multi-color logo depicting the actual trophy given to recipients of the Rawlings Gold Glove Award. These balls were supposedly handed out to players and other guests at the official awards banquet.
It's noted on the ball that it is "1 of 1000" which you'd obviously assume means there were only 1000 of these made. We've seen about a dozen or so for sale in the past, but it's possible they were reprinted or printed in larger quantities.
